Kurt Phillips is a six-time CFO who brings 25 years of experience in PE-backed tech-enabled service and SaaS businesses. Focused on efficient growth through organic initiatives as well as M&A activities, his partnership approach both internally and externally facilitates transparency and data-driven decision-making.

Prior to SEG, Kurt was CFO for 120Water, Emplify (15Five), eshots, Hostway (Ntirety), and ShopperTrak (Johnson Controls). He held dual CFO/COO roles at ShopperTrak, eshots, and Emplify, and has successfully led eight acquisitions and three exits.

Kurt holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a registered CPA. He lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife and two children and enjoys being active in his community.
